Dayara bugyal trek (Alpine meadows) with their spectacular views of the snow capped high Himalayas. Bugyal in the local language means “High Altitude Meadow”. Dayara Bugyal is one of the most beautiful places in Uttarakhand.Situated at an elevation ranging from 10,000-12,000 ft. This vast meadow is second to none in natural beauty in Uttrakhand. During winter it provides excellent & one of the best ski slopes in India spread over an area of 28 km.


Dayara Bugyal is cosily nestled amidst snow capped peaks giving a view which will remain etched in your minds for a long time. The trek passes through Rhododendrons shrubs, silver oaks and divine deodar forests. The beautiful landscape is below the high peaks, while overlooking a picturesque  valley.  Clear streams, small ponds, long wild grass and wild flowers you have it all in this trek.


Day 1DEHRADUN – RAITHAL (Drive 180km/7-8hrs./ 7,400 ft/2,256 mt.)

Raithal Village the base camp for the Dayara Bugyal trek, is around 8 from Dehradun. The drive takes you through the picturesque Garhwal Mountains along the holy Ganges.Reach Raithal with Front view of Shrikanth peak and massif view Gangotri range from Raithal. Overnight & Meal at Home Stay with Local Food and culture.

Day 2RAITHAL – GOI (Trek 5km/3-4hrs./ 9,200 ft /2804 mt.)

Today you will start your trek to Goi, The Summer Temporary Hut of local Villager with Chattels. This is the first day of our trek. You start ascending through pine forests and reach Goi. The summit Draupadi ka Danda can be seen along the route. Same view as Raithal, village huts around, campsite surrounded by forests of silver, gold oak trees, bloomed with rhododendrons. Overnight in tent & dinner.

Day 3GOI – DAYARA BUGYAL – CHILAPADA (Trek 7-8km./ 5-6hrs./11,100 ft /33,83 mt.)

You walk on a well laid path through the pine forests and get above the tree line to the pastures of Dayara Bugyal. This beautiful sloping meadow is an attraction for skiers during winter. At Dayara Bugyal a higher point close to the campsite.

Day 4CHILAPADA – DAYARA BUGYAL – GOI.(7-8km./6hrs.)

Wake up and once again with morning view, to the sounds of chirping birds. Sip a cup of morning tea with the sun rising from behind the grand peaks of the Himalayas. Your last day here could not have had a better start.With magnificent views of Bandar Poonch and other peaks.


Trek from Goey to Raityhal to Dehradun/Haridwar to board your bus/ train back home. Carry along immense memories of open pastures in the Himalayan setting.

Cost Includes
  • Stay o1 Night on Arrival at Raithal on Sharing Basis at home stay or Guest House.
  • Stay entire trek in tents with foam sleeping pads & sleeping bags.
  • Meals: As per itinerary, Tea /coffee, snacks & drinking boiled water during the trek. All meals would be vegetarian; the food would be a mix of Indian, Chinese & Local.
  • Professionally trained mountain guide known well the area ,camp staff, cook etc.
  • Mules/Porters: For carrying rations, trekking equipments.
  • All trekking permits and park entrance fees & Camping charges entire the trek.
